CF 12P
INTRODUCTORY PARAGRAPH
Key Features and Benefits Quick Summary
Huge Performance, Small Package: with up to 5 times the filter area of similar bag collectors, the CF 12PW with top-mounted fan occupies less than one square metre of floor space while offering the capacity and performance of a much larger dust extractor.
Negative Pressure Collector: no dust spewing out onto your shop floor.
Clean Air Fan: protects the fan from abrasive/ impact damage and reduces energy costs.
Continuous, On-line Reverse Pulse Filter Cleaning: Micronair’s unique reverse-pulse filter cleaning system utilises proprietary technology that minimises compressed air consumption and maximises the ‘pulse’ cleaning action – in less than a second!
Fast, Ergonomic Dust Disposal: “Quick-lock” bin system eliminates lifting, spillage and alignment issues.
Designed and Made in Australia: engineered to perform and built to last!
Technical Data:
Construction:
- Powder-coated, laser cut, 3mm thick galvanized steel sheet carcass
- Fully welded, hot-dipped galvanized steel legs, from 5mm angle iron
- Fully sealed and assembled using stainless steel fittings
Filters:
- 12 washable, spun-bond polyester cartridge filters.
- Ø 120mm x 1100mm long, with 99.5% filtration efficiency at 1 micron. Total filter surface area = 24 m2
- 10mm separation between pleats for optimal dust release during cleaning cycle.
- PTFE filter coating available
Filter Chamber:
- Dirty air enters below the filters into an open drop-out void in the filter chamber, where the heavier waste drops into the collection bin. The finer dust travels around the filter chamber in a cyclonic motion, accelerating the dropout of more particles. The remaining fine particles spiral over the outside of the filters – as the air is drawn through the filters, the dust is captured and the clean air is drawn up into the clean-air plenum.
- The filter chamber is negatively pressurised ensuring that dust sealing is 100%. You could drill a hole into the extractor and no dust would be expelled into the work environment.
Inlet:
- Galvanised steel “pelican” inlet, slows the air as it enters the filter chamber maximising drop-out into the bin(s).
- Standard dimensions (mm): 760×125, with Ø 250 connection (other inlet sizes, types available on request)
- Location: filter chamber, left front or right rear side of chamber
Wheelie Bin:
- Heavy duty, high impact, 240 litre capacity, with 14 kg total mass minimum
- Quick-lock lever release and replace system
- Bins can be used with or without bin liners
Compressed air requirements/ consumption:
- 80 to 100 psi
- 3 l/m, 0.40 CFM, 0.678 m3/hr
