Fume extraction requirements differ widely dependent on the source material. At Micronair we select the correct filter for each application and also have a full range of Fan / Motor combinations to suit specific applications.
For welding and Solder Laser and Plasma cutting fume applications the filters are generally 0.3 micron ( 1/3000th of a millimetre) capable which creates higher filter resistance - which we take into account when specifing your system to meet the overall airflow volumes you need to cleanly extract these fumes.We also offer 0.1 micron triple filter 'nano particle' filters ( 1/10,000th of a millimetre).
CNC Plasma and Laser cutters are handled by our CLEAN- FLOW range with specialised filters when oily fumes are present.
All our systems include auto filter cleaning without the need to remove the filters from the extractor. These can be online - continously cleaning the filters while you work - or automatically activated when you shut your workshop machines down. Even our portable unit features (manually activated) 'reverse pulse' filter cleaning without removing the filter. Clean, convenient and safe.
We also supply a range of self-supporting fume collection arms with 360 deg positioning ability - in 2 to 5 m lengths.
